Desolation and the Joy of Technology

Desolation is up to read over at Flashes in the Dark, so head on over and tell me what you think.

Have been experiencing major computer problems today and internet connection has been very sporadic so I’ve been seriously deprived of pretty much anything to do with the internet—no blogging, Facebook, Myspace, what the hell....

Anyway, hopefully all will be well in the land of technology tomorrow.

No Internet...how barbaric! Dropped into Flashes and enjoyed your story.

*spoiler alert*

Here I was expecting a cheesey-creep with an acoustic guitar, and he plays the cello! Lovely!

Nicely done. It was very atmospheric without giving away too much.

Very well done, Danielle. I left a comment. :D

I know, Alan, it's very frustrating. And thanks for your comments.

Aaron, glad you liked the cello.

Thanks, Jamie and Cate.

Oh, and yay! I'm online - now for some quick blogging.

Jamie hit it on the head: "atmospheric" was the perfect word. :)

Sometimes I wonder if I should go unplugged for a week or two, but I think I would curl up in a ball and die. I'm far too dependent on the internet.

Thanks for reading, Mercedes.

I'm too dependent on the internet as well, and of course only realise how much when I don't have it.
