A Tuesday Rejection

Back at work this morning after a long weekend and I had a rejection waiting for me in my email inbox. Morpheus Tales have passed on The Pennyroyal so I’ll now be looking for another home for my paranoid little friend, Agnes Gunn.

I had a lovely day off yesterday for our Queens Birthday public holiday. After a hectic weekend I spent the day editing and got quite a bit done on Kiss Butterfly. I also managed to get a bit of reading done and am immensely enjoying Summer of Night by Dan Simmons.

Also for some great reading, head on over to 52 Stitches to read BT's story Murky Depths - http://52stitches.blogspot.com/2009/06/murky-depths.html - you won’t be disappointed.

Sorry about the rejection, but try try again. Every story deserves a home.

I think that market has passed up two stories of mine that have since found homes. Agnes will find a home soon. (I love that name!)

Ouch for the rejection, but I know the story will find a good home next time out!

Thanks guys, I hope she finds a home too.

Thanks for the link, D. And thanks, Nat.

I'm with Aaron on this - every story has a home, you just need to take the time and effort to find the right one.

Keep sending it out. Some editor will wake up and see the brilliance that is Agnes.

Hang in there, Danielle. Sending it out again quickly is absolutely the right thing to do!
