June

First day of winter. Yahoo! I love, love, love winter. I love rugging up, winter coats, cool weather, fog, doona Sundays, a valid excuse to drink more coffee.

May turned out to be a pretty good month writing wise. I had a story released (Sister Sunday was due out last week as well but apparently is coming out this week instead) and I submitted another short story (The Pennyroyal). I progressed forward on editing Kiss Butterfly and will hopefully get another few chapters done this month. I also plan to send off The Little Drummer Girl (Festive Fear), The Death Blossoms and The Ivory Tea Monkey.

Pop on over to Semaphore to read K C Shaw’s story Long Way Home - http://www.semaphoremagazine.com/Semaphore%20Magazine%20Issue%207%20June%202009.pdf

It's so bizarre that you're heading into winter when our summer is just starting. Though I've a feeling we'll still be at the same temperatures. :)

We probably will be, Catherine.

Have a nice winter. I will be running around, mowing the yard, fishing, hiking, biking and probably a few other 'ing's as well. Good luck with your stories.

Thanks for the shout-out! I love your story titles, by the way.

Have a great winter (winter, ugh!). Sounds like you had a productive May; I hope your June is even better!

Cheers to winter. I'm a little confused, of course...June means summer here.

'course, I'm confused a lot.

I, like the others, am very intrigued by your winter. Ah, Australia! How exotic (not to you of course...)

Good luck writing!

My first thought was, "Oh dear, the poor thing's drunk."

Then I remembered that you weren't in the states ; )

You silly girl - winter is terrible! And you live in Melbourne, which makes it worse!

Just kidding. I just happen to prefer summer (girls wear less).

Jamie, I hope you catch plenty of fish.

KC, fingers crossed for us all for June.

Aaron, its cool, I'm easily confused too.

Thanks, Horror Girl.

Natalie, I did have a few drinks last night but not til after I'd posted :)

BT, I'm up in Brisbane. It's a little less frosty and a little more tropical up here. Though I do love Melbourne and could definitely see myself living there.

I like winter too. I'd like it more if I could do all of the rugging up and stuff, instead of getting up at a stupid hour and and freezing my thing little ass off.

Benjamin, I don't like early mornings either. I'm a night person and would happily sleep in til around 10 every morning and go to bed around 3.00 am.
