I’m happy with April and hope to be even happier with May.

April heralded my first acceptance for 2009. Better late than never, hey! I also finished off a few short stories, started a new one and did some work on the novel plus I submitted stories to the AHWA Flash and Short Story Fiction Comps. Am still waiting to hear back on three other subs, but hopefully soon…

This month brings the publication of two of my short stories (The Child Villain and Sister Sunday). Writing wise, I intend to have The Little Drummer Girl finished and ready to submit to Festive Fear Anthology by month end (depending on my muse) and also have a few more chapters edited of Kiss Butterfly, which should bring me up to Chap 11. I plan to get some reading done as well. I’ve slackened off lately and my To Be Read pile on my bedside table is tottering at a dangerous angle.

We have a long weekend over here in Oz for Labour Day, so I'll be offline for the next three days. I have a few things on, but plan to get in some good writing and reading time as well.
