I love it when a new idea sprouts into a story. I love it even more when three separate ideas form one story. Soon after the three ideas came to me I got the title: The Ivory Tea Monkey.
I’ve let it sit for a few weeks and last night I started writing it. The first draft is top heavy so I’m going to have to cut, cut, cut, but I’m really happy with it.
Also, I’ve read some fantastic short stories recently by some awesome writers. The links are here and you should go and check them out:
Winged Shepherd of Innocence by Brenton Tomlinson at http://fearandtremblingmag.com/item.php?sub_id=4615
Nine by Jamie Eyberg at http://52stitches.blogspot.com/
The Man Who Wasn’t A Man At All by Catherine J Gardner at http://fearandtremblingmag.com/item.php?sub_id=4615
All guaranteed to leave you more than a little unnerved.

Excellent news about the new short. I can empathise as I had one hit me last night - lost a lot of sleep...
Thanks for the link.
You say the nicest things :c)
My pleasure, it was worth the mention.
Thanks for mentioning my story. :)
I love the title 'The Ivory Tea Monkey'.
I ditto Cate's comment. That is an awesome story title. Brings some awesome images to mind. :)
